Sydney Trailseries has been established to provide great monthly trail running races to both Sydneysiders and those from further afield. Each month there is a short, medium and long course option to choose from, with plenty of variety on offer over 6 of the best Trail Running venues Sydney has to offer. From the technical trails around Manly Dam to the stunning cliff top coastal trails of Kamay Botany Bay National Park, you will love the diversity of terrain which is guaranteed to build your trail running skills.
We have also introduced 3 new feature events for those that want to go the extra mile (or km), with extra-long course, marathon, ultra marathon and multi day options available.

A scenic start finish area on the shores of the dam, plus a mix of technical single trails, waterfalls, fire trails, and lovey dam views. The 20km course offers some very nice harbour views! Cool down with a dip in the dam after your run.
Starting and finishing at the bushy St Ives Showground, the trails meander around the wildflower gardens. The long course is a challenging 24km, with some scenic single trail running along Cowan Creek.
The most scenic of all of the Trail Series courses, starting and finishing on Botany Bay at Kurnell, there is a nice variety of cliff top and ocean side trails, as you wind your way down the coast and back again.
Starting and finishing under Roseville Bridge, this course takes you along middle harbour and around Bantry Bay. Some very technical sections , but a rewarding course with a glorious middle harbour side start and finish area.
Just like going back to school this event starts and finishes with a run around the 200metre athletics track at the Sydney Japanese School. The fastest and least technical of all courses, this course offers a fantastic mix of both single and fire trail, with some lookout views over Broken Bay.
A great course with some technical sections and a bit of hill climbing, and descending. This course takes you through some tricky single trails, and rewards your efforts with panoramic views over Narrabeen Lakes and the pacific ocean.
This event adds both 44km and 70km options to the monthly St Ives event, to make this event Sydney’s true trail running festival offering distances from 7km right through to 70km, and a fun festive atmosphere for the day on the main arena of the St Ives Showground.
With such a stunning coastal course on offer Big Coast Run takes the monthly Kamay Botany Bay event , and adds a 35km long course option with some great beach running for those looking for the extra challenge
