FAQ's

Can I register on the day?

Yes, on the day registrations are available, please refer to Race Timetable to know when registrations open. Registrations will close 15 minutes prior to the race start. On the day entry fees can befound here. We will accept both cash and credit card payments. 

Do I have to carry a water bottle?

Sydney Trail Series have a no cup policy. This is an environmental choice. There is water available at the start / finish area, and also on the course. If you would like any water during the race, we suggest you take a water bottle or hydration pack.

Are there cut offs?

Cut off times are enforced for the long and extra long courses. Please refer to the Course Description section of the website for details on cut off times. There are no cut off times for the short and medium courses. The event is designed to be run, however many people walk the uphill and technical sections. If your aim is to predominantly run the course (even at a slow pace), then these distances are for you! 

Are there toilet and shower facilities nearby?

Toilets are about 50m from the start / finish area. There are no showers, but a dip in the dam is just as refreshing! 

Where can I park?

There are over 400 car spaces within the Manly Dam car park. The start / finish area is located in Section 1 (the first section as you come through the main entry gates on King Street, Manly Vale). There is parking in Sections 1 to 4. Section 4 is furthest from the race area and entry gate, and is approximately a 1km walk to the start / finish area. Parking within Manly Dam is free for residents with a Northern Beaches Council parking sticker. There are parking ticket machines available for those outside of these areas. If you choose to park outside of Manly Dam in the neighbouring streets, please do so legally and respectfully. 

When are prizes issued?

Prize giving takes place at the race presentation (please refer to Race Timetable for times). You must be at the race presentation to collect your prize. We are unable to post prizes after the event. 

I can't make it to the event, can I transfer my entry to another race or to someone else?
